RECENT UPDATES: (4.24.07)
Greetings family reunionites!
Can you believe that there are only 5 more Monday’s until the end of the school year (not that I‘m counting or anything!) And better yet, only sixty-some shopping days until we will all be together! Now is the time to start watching the store ads so you can stock up on your favorite soda (or as LaDonna refers to it, pop) for the reunion! So as to not disappoint anyone, this will be a BYOB event.
We do have a couple of reminders…
This is the last call for ordering t-shirts. I am taking the information to the printer early next week (May 1). So, order now or plan to be photographed…NEKED.
LaDonna has mentioned that y’all are a little slow on getting recipes in to her. Do you want a recipe book or a recipe card, people? GET ‘ER DONE…please J ! And send lots. We Wisconsinites love our food! ladonnateske@centurytel.net
Other business…
If anyone is interested in renting a golf cart for their stay at Arrowhead (not a necessity, but a whole lotta fun), the campground has given me the following information to share:
By the day $55
2-day weekend $95
3-day weekend $135
Price includes gasoline. If interested, please contact Arrowhead (608-254-7344 or
800-955-4188) to make a reservation.
And finally…
The pig has been ordered for Saturday‘s Luau and pig roast. Make sure to bring your grass skirts and empty bellies. This will be a potluck. We are requesting that each family bring a dish to pass. Please let me know whether you plan to bring a salad, casserole, dessert or other. Wouldn’t it be just terrible if we only had pig and desserts?!?
That is all for this week. Please let either me, mwhaley1@wi.rr.com, or the maternal one, gflorence9@aol.com, know should you have any questions or concerns!
Peace, love and bellbottoms.

(3.24.07) Greetings one and all,
After all of the static that I recently received, I decided that I would take over the e-mailing duties for my dear, pi**ed off mother. Apparently, the stress is getting to her, weakening her better judgment and editing abilities. Love ya, Mom! J
A huge gracias to those of you who have replied to my survey and /or sent in your slush fund monies. Just to reiterate, the monies are being used to cover overhead costs for items such as supplies, ordering t-shirts and securing a pig for the pig roast. For you stragglers, there is still (a little bit of) time left to get those requested items in. This is very helpful in the planning of our gregarious gathering. Soon, and very soon, you should be receiving Dells Vacation Guides in the mail (assuming I had an address for you), thanks to my good father, Norm. Happy browsing.
I know that some of you have been asking about accommodations. Here is what I know…
The following families have made reservations at Arrowhead (Bobby and Jill, Gary and Liz, Jim and Roni, Margaret Ann and Shane, LaDonna and Butch, Jim and Chris, Gerry Lee and Norman, Carol and Joe, Joe and Melissa Kujak, Bill and Charlene and Victor and I).
Donny and Peg and Butch G. and Ginny have made reservations at the Day’s End Motel.
This week we will be working on t-shirt for the reunion. Victor, who loves to mess around…ON THE COMPUTER (I know what you were thinking) has come up with a lovely design. I hope you are all able to open your attachment and view the logo. The plan is to order a different color shirt for each branch of the family tree (for picture day, Saturday). We are doing our best to keep the cost under $10 per shirt, but as you have heard before, the cost is contingent upon how many shirts we order. So, I am requesting that you reply to me by April 5 (so I can work on this during my Spring Break) with the number of shirts and sizes (children/ladies/men) you are requesting. Thank you, thank you, and thank you, in advance.
Please don’t forget to keep digging for those family recipes. I know that we Tulius’ are getting close to a knock-down, drag-out over the Allspice Chicken recipe. (I called it first!!) LaDonna is ready and waiting to get going on the cookbook. ladonnateske@centurytel.net Soon enough she will be asking herself “Who volunteered me for all of this?” Believe me girlfriend, I feel your pain.
That should do it for this week…Don’t forget to check the website www.dellsreunion.com for updates. Keep in touch. Tootles. Michele
(2.15.07)
Hello to One and All,
This is an update on preparations for the cousin reunion. LaDonna and Butch, Jim and Chris, and Michele and Victor were in the Dells this past week-end, and we went over plans for our upcoming event. Some of the items covered were:
* The need for some working capital. We will need to prepay some of the projected expenses; i.e., the pig roast, reunion t-shirts, beverages, and paper goods, etc. Therefore, we are asking for $25 per adult for those who will be in attendance for the week-end, and $20 per adult for those planning on attending for only one day. We won't have definite costs until we get an accurate count of who will be in attendance. Please send your checks to:
Geraldine Florence
E9409 Partridge Drive
Reedsburg, WI 53959
* Saturday will be the main day of the reunion, and we encourage those who can attend for one day only to do so on Saturday. We plan on having a photo session on that day and would like to have everyone there for a "family" photo. The pig roast is also planned for Saturday, as well as a D.J. dance in the evening. * We would like everyone's current address so that we can send out a Wisconsin Dells packet providing recreational, hotel, and restaurant information which you may find interesting. Please e-mail this information as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please e-mail or call either Michele or me.
Love to you all, and stay warm!

Make Reservations
We are requesting that you contact Arrowheadcampresort.com regarding reservations within the next two weeks. Go to the rental icon in the website to see pictures of the units and a price list at the bottom of that page.
At this time, there are no reservations made for June 28, 29, 30, and 31st, so we can have anything we want. Be sure to mention the name Cottrell (Michele) when making reservations so they can keep us together.
There are 12 deluxe units, 1 park model, 4 lofts and 3 camper cabin units available. It's my understanding that the camper cabins are very basic and do not have a bathroom.
Also, we would appreciate having a headcount by February 9th so we can get quotes for some of the food, memorabilia, and activities.
If you have lots of time on your hands and would like to be actively involved, please let us know and we can probably find a little something for you to do.
Again, I am excited!!! excited!!! excited!!!
